Though we still have a bit of time before Christmas it’s never too early to keep an eye out for great gift ideas, especially ones sure to be a big hit come Christmas morning. We’ve actually got a couple great ideas for you, all from Noodle Head, a company that believes “imagination, creativity, ingenuity, concentration, personal interaction, and good conversation are developed and ignited with real-world projects and toys.”
Noodle Head has quite the lineup of great gift ideas, and we had the opportunity to check out Pawparazzi pets. If any of you have girls at home, a Pawparazzi pet would make the perfect gift. These miniature pet “celebrities” come with a carrying purse, blanket, and celebrity magazine. Be “mom of the year” and go with the Pawparazzi Celebrity Style Set, which includes a carrying purse, leash, collar, blanket, name charm, silver food dish, matching peral collar, and girl’s pearl necklace. No need to make room in the toy box, unless Santa puts the Hotel Pawparazzi and large selection of Pawparazzi accessories under the tree as well!
Pawparazzi Pets, one of the newest and most popular toys under the Noodle Head brand, are collectible plush celebrity pets that come with couture bags and accessories. Each pet comes with a magazine that promotes the personality of the animal and its celebrity status.

Red Envelope

Post by Administrator on 04/6/2008

The fall of an empire has taken place, and though we should reflect on history, we should not live in the past. When one great empire falls, it leaves space for another to develop. Okay, so we are not talking about something that will necessarily affect everybody, as the empire we are discussing is none other than Red Envelope, an online gift store, which is one of our biggest competitors.

As a growing company we saw Red Envelope as both a benchmark for quality and also as a competitor. But times are changing, as they do, and both unfortunately and fortunately, Red Envelope will no longer be either of those things for us here at MyGiftee.com. The big changes that have taken place within the company, which seemingly will ultimately lead to its demise, are; the resignation of both CFO William Gochnauer and board member John Pound; and the announcement of Wells Fargo Retail Finance that the company’s credit line is to be terminated, for various reasons, leaving Red Envelope with insufficient funds to continue operations.

As quoted on TechCrunch.com the company is “currently engaged in discussions with two potential acquirers for the purchase of substantially all of the Company’s assets”, but this may not happen in time for the company’s savior, and it may be forced to cease operations.

At MyGiftee.com, as nice people, we wish the best upon anybody and certainly don’t enjoy the demise of others but…we’d be lying if we said that we don’t feel a small collection of butterflies within our respective stomachs; Red Envelope was a HUGE competitor of ours, with an uncountable number of customers who will now be looking for an alternative source for gifts, and an alternative provider of that same service. We hope to step in and say to those people, “Hi, we’re here, we are not Red Envelope, nor do we try to be, but give us a try and you’ll see that the quality of our service and the level of care we put into each transaction, equals or exceeds that provided by the E-Giants.”

If you are a former customer of Red Envelope…well, we’re sorry for your loss, but hey, you can’t stop change, you can just learn to evolve. We make that easier, because you don’t even need to evolve that much. Give MyGiftee.com a try, browse our gifts and make a purchase, and the rest will be history.
